Ayasofya mosque
First, we will visit the “Ayasofia” mosque, located in the city of Trabzon in eastern Turkey. Which is one of the most important historical monuments in the city. It dates back to the thirteenth century. The mosque was originally a huge church. During its construction, Trabzon was the capital of the “Tribazund Empire”. After the conquest of Trabzon by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror. It was converted into a mosque with drawings from the Bible erased from the walls in 1461.
Ataturk Palace
